Michelle Burns is an associate at WFBM's Orange office.  Her practice focuses on environmental litigation with an emphasis on the defense of products liability and premises liability cases as well as environmental contamination cases.  She has obtained summary judgment in products liability cases as well as negotiated several dismissals on behalf of the firm's clients. 

Law School achievements: Intellectual Property Certificate; Dean's Merit Scholarship; Whittier Law Journal Honors Society (2009-2010); LexisNexis Professional Certification; CALI Awards for Excellence (Trademark Law, Copyright Law, Wills & Trusts and Legal Analysis).

During law school, Michelle worked in Intellectual Property (IP) in-house legal departments and an IP law firm.  She primarily focused on trademark prosecution and did some work with patents. 

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Michelle now resides in Orange County.  In her free time, Michelle likes to attend concerts, snowboard, hike, and spend time with family and friends.
