Sage R. Knauft is a partner in WFBM's Orange County general litigation department. His diverse practice areas include business litigation, employment law, environmental litigation, construction law, products liability, premises liability and public entity litigation. Throughout his career, he has successfully represented a wide variety of clients, including private companies and individuals, municipalities, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, subcontractors and property owners in complex and multi-party litigation. Sage has been involved in several trials and arbitrations and has successfully negotiated numerous favorable settlements for his clients. In addition to his litigation practice, Sage frequently gives lectures and presentations in various topics relating to his practice areas. Law School achievements include: Production Editor, Hastings International & Comparative Law Review and Author: Proposed Guidelines For Measuring the Propriety of Armed State Responses to Terrorist Attacks (1996). Born in Berkeley, Sage is a life-long California resident, having obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and law degree at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He met his wife Peggy in San Francisco and they now reside with their two daughters, Maggie and Katie, in Laguna Niguel.
